Tokoro Travel LLC plans and guides private tours, cultural experiences and itineraries in Japan. "We" and "us" in these terms means Tokoro Travel LLC.
Bookings and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars. Experiences are paid in full at checkout. Your booking is confirmed once payment is received and we send a confirmation email.
Your bank may charge its own currency or card fees. These are outside our control.
Our role
We arrange your time with independent artisans, studios, venues and transport providers. On their premises, their house rules apply, and we will tell you about any that matter in advance.
Your responsibilities
Give us accurate contact details and guest numbers
Arrive on time and follow the guidance of your guide and hosts
Tell us about health or mobility needs that affect an activity
Carry valid travel documents and appropriate travel insurance
Children
Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout. Some studios set minimum ages for safety, which we confirm when you book.
Photography
Please ask before photographing artisans, their workshops or their work. Some studios do not allow photography in certain areas.
Changes to an experience
Rarely, we may need to change a detail such as the start time or the artisan leading the session. If a change is significant, you can cancel for a full refund.
Liability
We take care in choosing the people and places we work with. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss or injury caused by third-party providers or by events outside our control.
Your information
We use your details only to arrange and support your trip, and share them only with the providers involved in your booking.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown when you book applies to that booking.
